Delivery & Return Policy

It usually takes us up to 3-15 working days for delivery. However if you’re needing an item sooner please do contact us and we will try our best to accommodate this. 

Our delivery team will call you to notify you of the delivery date & you will be given a time slot the evening before delivery.

Our delivery staff will call also call you one hour prior to your delivery. The deliveries usually start at 6am and are completed by 8pm.

If we deliver a defective or damaged product, then the issue must be reported to us via email within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Note: Please provide us with an accurate phone number and an email address for smooth communication.

Installation Process/Charges

In most cases, our products will be delivered to you by a pair of delivery staff. They will ensure that there is enough space and adequate access to your property for smooth delivery. In case there are obstructions such as cabinets, lamps, or fixtures, you will need to remove them and clear the path.

As standard, they will bring your product to the room of your choice on the ground floor unless requested otherwise. This is strictly restricted to the ground floor. If the product is needed to be delivered on upper floors, applicable charges must be paid directly to the courier service. The charges are £20 for the first floor, then £10 per floor. 

Our staff members will leave the item in the protective packaging on the ground floor. You can buy our installation package for a complete installation service, which includes the following: 

  • Assembly 
  • Eco-friendly recycling of the packaging

The amount varies per sofa, and it can take 15 to 30 minutes for each installation. We highly recommend you add this service for a hassle-free installation.

Failed delivery
If you happen to miss your confirmed delivery date and time slot, then you will be liable to pay up to £150 to schedule a re-delivery. The cost is subject to the size and quantity of the products.

Return Policy

Please read our return guide completely to ensure you are well-informed of our Return Policy. This policy is applicable to all products bought from Cosy Sofas And Beds Ireland unless otherwise mentioned so.

Unreturnable Items

  • Products you received over 14 days ago, past our return period 
  • Products that have been opened or unsealed (other than to inspect)
  • Products that have been damaged or misused
  • Products without original packaging and labels
  • Products that have been assembled in any way

We are happy to offer a full refund after deducting any courier costs incurred to us. This varies depending on the item size, weight, and location. This applies to all our products as long as they are in the same condition as sold to you, and within 14 days of delivery (Return Period), items will need to be packaged and protected.

 

Step 1: You can process any return request by simply contacting us via a phone call or filling out the form. You must be within your return window to process a return. 

Step 2: Let us know your preference regarding the return, whether you need us to collect the items or you will be organising the courier. 

Step 3: Ensure the product is in the condition it was received and is immediately covered and protected while in your care.

Step 4: Please make sure the item is available to collect within 14 days of the return request being accepted. 

Step 5: After the pickup has been completed, an inspection will take place, and a refund will be issued if everything is satisfactory.

Return Costs

We would love to offer a free return service on the items we sell but unfortunately, this is not the situation. The return costs vary depending on the item you are returning. For example, a regular sofa will cost a minimum of £100. 

We charge this amount to cover the fees associated with delivery and return. As mentioned above, you can use your own selected courier, and we will issue a full refund (minus the initial delivery fee, if applicable).

Processing your refund

We will refund your money into the same account via the same method you used for your order. 

If you used a credit or debit card you should get the refund within 7 working days after it is successfully issued.

Our experts will inspect the returned products to ensure it is in the condition it was delivered, and then the refund will be issued. 

Return Summary

  • You have the right to cancel your order for up to 30 days after placing your order and 14 days after receiving your order
  • If you wish to return goods, they must be in suitable protective packaging and not used (the same condition as sold to you, we will not accept used goods back)
  • Assembled items must be un-assembled and placed back in their wrappings/box and available for pickup within 14 days of the return request being accepted
  • Bespoke items are not available for cancellation due to the nature of the items.
  • Please do not order multiple sofas to return your item.
  • If you wish to return any goods, please contact us, and we will log it on our system and plan accordingly.
  • You are liable for the cost of returning the goods.
  • Your refund will take place after the goods have been collected and returned to our warehouse for inspection.

Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in this policy.
